We're back baby!

And I can tell you, I barely felt anxious about work!

It’s not easy to spend 10 days doing nothing - basically because its boring AF

(ok i wrote the whole newsletter, and I came back to write in this spot - it’s a bit long, but actually, I enjoyed writing this and I kinda think its a good one too!)

Simantro Resort in Sani Greece

Here’s the TLDR of my trip - btw, check out my dope buzz cut

2 days were spent driving to and from Greece, checking in, checking out, grocery shopping, washing cars, clothes etc.

8 days spent mostly on the beach: swimming, napping, tanning and reading books

I read 3 books

  • Thursday Murder Club

  • Talking to Strangers

  • Turning Pro, War of Art, Do The Work

Technically that’s 5 but the books from Steven Pressfield are so dam short

The last full day, on Saturday, I woke up with Food Poisoning - was only one day luckily, but it didnt make for a pleasant day at all, especially that morning…

I’m writing this on a Monday - 28 July

  • I started work with 2 invoices that are 30 days late from a customer.

  • I did my motorbike license test, i failed because of 1 mistake on the obstacle course and 1 mistake on the driving test (otherwise i did great, and i think they failed me because they need jobs and want people to pay twice)

  • I called potential clients, only to go to voicemail or get ignored

  • I am starting with cold email marketing campaigns and getting those email addresses ready!

  • I wrote this email newsletter and scheduled it for today (when you’re reading it)

I’m excited about the changes im bringing to this newsletter, but im also excited to be back and work - got fresh energy, enthusiasm and motivation

60% of the year is done btw.

Got another 60% to go - cause i always give 120% (lame AF joke)

Shit jokes aside, 40% left, im excited, thats like half way! thats awesome, i’ve still got half a year to crush 2025! same for you!!!

IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU

I’ve got an idea for this newsletter

I still want to make the same content about remote work, finding opportunities, career advice and what have you…

…BUT

I also want to go balls deep on AI - if you arent, you need to start going - Im still not on the hype train, but what I am is like Neo, when he starts to believe

And I really do think the future is AI everythang (you gotta pronounce everything with an ‘a’ and a red neck american accent)

I think AI is a tool that more and more companies will use and beyond commercial applications, its going to have personal applications too - im sure someone reading this right now, will one day, have an AI girlfriend - im sorry bro, but it’s very possible

So my long winded point is this - you are going to need to learn to leverage AI, for your business and personal life

And i want to help you

So i’m adding an Artificial Intelligence section to my newsletter and its going to be tips and tricks on how you can use AI for your career

I’m excited for this, because I can get to teach you about AI while I myself learn AI - so it’s win win

THATS A WRAP

But first, here’s a pic of my buzz cut from the front - yes i am balding :’(

but the balding has stopped - i dont think it will get worse!
